Let’s say you are a successful trial attorney who has become a partner in your firm. You may help you firm to make millions and you may be paid well for your efforts. But what of the person who started that firm and built the clientele to the point that the firm could actually afford to hire and support you. You leveraged what was already in place but you did not build it. Get it?

Most people have adopted the philosophy that it demands years to generate substantial income from a business especially if you are self-employed. You know, 3-5 years to turn a profit and so on. The reality is that most of us do not have that much time. We need an answer and we need results right away.
- So, if you are looking to participate in a franchise business you should ask yourself why? You will need the better part of $500,000 for the average franchise once you add all your costs together. Some people have a passion for a storefront business. Not us. That is the slow way to profit and a guarantee that you will be chained to your venture for 60-80 hours a week. No thanks. Our goal is to create high 6-figure incomes - part time!
While there is little interest on our part to be part of a storefront franchise we do have to recognize, respect, and perhaps emulate the components that make them attractive. They have a system that allows for simple duplication and scale. This means the brand remains consistent in presentation and delivery. The Big Mac you buy in Philadelphia is the same one you will get in Los Angeles. So, hats off to the franchise on their system. Still, we do not have that kind of time. The system has to be applied in a way that allows rapid entry into cash flow and profit. Let’s move on.
- The idea of selling trinkets for pennies in profits does nothing to excite the person who wants to do more than simply say they are in business. Frankly, it takes the same amount of time to make $400 dollars as it does to make $400,000. We all get 24 hours in a day. It is all about how we use them. There is no time for small ticket items if you are trying to make real money NOW.
- The average person involved in the self-employed, home business arena has bounced around from business to business. Either the business does not work or they did not work the business. Let’s say that the 80/20 rule applies equally to both. Eighty percent of the business opportunities out there are a joke and eighty percent of the people who join a business will never put a single minute of effort into it.
- While we are on the subject, let’s throw out all the opportunities that promise that you will never have to do a thing but sit back and watch the money come rolling in. How about the ones that say you will never have to sell anything or that you can start a business for $50 and make a million in the next 45 days? Bullsh*t. It simply can not be done. Not honestly anyway. The only person getting rich there is the person running the ads and signing up the suckers.
